Felt a little off but my weights are very close to my best on the top end but I have done 275x3 off the chest.

The Knoll Life Chair I bought was worth every penny. My shoulders have been fucked for a year and after three days work in the new chair they did not hurt at all. I knew it and people thought I was crazy or making excuses. Can't wait to see what it does for my back!

We settled on monster minis with 55# a side. The minis load much more evenly than doubling a light so the weight on the board with the monsters is actually more than the light band. Interesting.

Marcello threw on some Lamb to kick it off and then we listened to the entire Despised Icon Arms of Perdition. BADASS!

Highlight of the evening was an ex con, with an anklet from the State of Colorado, hitting on me. Guess the new tats are working. At least I know she likes to eat pussy.

JJ said I took about 5 secs to lower the last one and was putting all the weight on my pressing muscles. He said I need to use mh lats more. Clay had been talking to me about some stuff with the floor press and boards. He went on about pulling the elbows into the lats and bringin it down fast while staying tight in the back.
add 3 board x1 - smoked it, checked depth and triceps were flat with elbows about 1/2" above the ground. The boards keep your elbows from slamming the floor and causing you to dump it.

Floor press w/ chains close grip - We did something a little different because some of the guys did floor press 2 weeks ago. We worked up until the beginners were out and then started adding a chain and weight each set. The chains are 3/8" because we can't seem to get 5/8" here. The chains are listed per side with no deload. The additional weight ended up being 80 lbs total at lockout on the last set. We measured the weight with a hanging scale I bought so when people ask how much band or chain is on the bar we know. I don't really care but have to admit it has been extremely handy in figuring out band tensions.

These were the 3 easiest shirted benches I've ever done. I had no problem with the lockout like I usually do. Phil picked my last attempt and gave me the confidence I needed to be successful. I can't thank him enough for raising the level of expectation.

I did all 3 attempts Metal Militia Style and felt much more stable than with a traditional set up. I'm sticking with this set up from now on.
